Vanderpuye Explains Criticising Sammy Gyamfi Was His Way of Defending Him

ACCRA — Nii Lante Vanderpuye has clarified that criticising Sammy Gyamfi publicly was not an attack, but a protective operation designed to prevent the opposition from criticising him first.

By condemning Gyamfi’s language toward Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, Vanderpuye said he was placing a secure perimeter of criticism around the GoldBod CEO. Once every available objection had been used by a fellow NDC member, the Minority would be forced either to agree with the NDC or find a completely different complaint.
